The Villa

An ancient country residence dating back to 1617, in the heart of Tuscia, completely restored and equipped with all comforts, Villa Arzilla is extended over three floors.

Positioned on a small hilltop at 360 metres above sea level and surrounded by 10,000 square metres of fully-fenced land, Villa Arzilla is not simply a place away from the chaos of the city and everyday routine, but a place to regenerate and reconnect with nature.

The breathtaking view of the surrounding countryside, the tranquillity and privacy of the estate, the last home before the forest, offer an unparalleled atmosphere in an undiscovered part of Italy: Tuscia.
The mild climate, the cool late spring and summer breezes, the neighbouring forest and the Vezza river create favourable temperature contrasts throughout the year. The Villa has a large private car park and is accessed via an automatic gate.

Inside the estate it is possible to visit an Etruscan tomb.

THE HALL

The lounge of Villa Arzilla is a place to spend your evenings chatting and sipping a glass of good wine, perhaps in front of the crackling fireplace on winter evenings, with the background music of our piano. Equipped with smart TV.

THE LIBRARY

The library holds the family books and recounts the lives of guests who have stayed at Villa Arzilla, through the books they left behind. An intimate and private place, it overlooks the garden and is the ideal place for quiet reading, sipping a drink or a cup of tea.

THE DINING ROOM

A place for sharing, cheerfulness and conviviality, our dining room, which overlooks the garden, has a large table for breakfasts, lunches and unforgettable dinners.

THE KITCHEN

This is where the magic is created! This characteristic country kitchen, with walls made of peperino, a typical Tuscia stone, has a large fireplace and a marble table in the centre of the room. Fully equipped, it has a fridge, freezer, industrial dishwasher, oven, microwave, kettles, pots and pans and crockery.

THE GARDEN

The garden and the spacious outdoor areas, the beauty and tranquillity of the countryside, the hidden corners to be discovered and experienced, will make your stay at Villa Arzilla an experience of rediscovering simple things and reconnect with the best part of yourself: the serene, carefree and relaxed version.

The garden has two pergolas: the first, on the main side of the Villa, is entirely covered by jasmine with its charming scent. The large peperino table is perfect for breakfasts, brunches, aperitifs, lunches and dinners.

The back pergola, on the other hand, covered with wisteria, is ideal for barbecues and dinners. It too has a large peperino table, a barbecue and is adjacent to the kitchen.

THE VEGETABLE GARDEN

In Villa Arzilla's vegetable garden, the aromatic herbs that give our rooms their names are planted and harvested to create traditional Italian dishes, together with seasonal products from local farmers, to offer a zero-kilometre organic menu, with genuine ingredients of the highest quality.

THE POOLS

The Villa has two adjacent swimming pools (6x12 - maximum depth 2.10; 4x4 - depth 1.20) and a solarium equipped with sun loungers and tables. On summer evenings, the solarium is the ideal place for aperitifs, brunches and intimate dinners.
